Archbishop Tim is in Town!

I envy everyone who got a seat today at our new Archbishop’s installation — or last night’s Vespers in St. Patrick’s Cathedral.

There’s no doubt that the friendly, exuberant Archbishop Timothy Dolan has taken over this town.

I watched the ceremonies last night and today partly on NY1 News and partly on EWTN, while simultaneously struggling with my tax return and nursing a splitting headache. Still, it was a magnificent occasion, and the Archbishop gives awesome homilies! The entire cathedral erupted into spontaneous applause when he spoke of the Church protecting the unborn.
