The Congressional Death Care Bill
With all the video editing, I haven’t had time enough to blog about the storm over health care in Congress. It’s an enormously important subject, specially given the Administration’s “stealth” campaign to make sure abortion is mandated as health care and receives federal funding, and the very disturbing trend to ration health care for the elderly and disabled, with an ever-so gentle push toward assisted suicide and euthanasia.
The best I can do is to point you to Jack Smith’s terrific reporting of this on The Catholic Key Blog. His headline says it all “Stand in the Way of Revolution — and Die.”
He also has a more hopeful post about the rising new generation of pro-life Democrats in Congress. And that’s only a small part of his reporting.
Meanwhile the American Papist has the rundown on the latest Congressional attempt to massively fund Planned Parenthood.
Then, if you haven’t done so, go over to www.stoptheabortionmandate.com, listen to last week’s webcast, watched live by over 36,000 people. Then follow the instructions for writing your representatives in Congress. Busy as I am, I’ve done it. There’s no time to lose!
