Planned Parenthood Director has Change of Heart
News of a major pro-life victory today.
Abby Johnson, the director of Planned Parenthood in Bryan Texas, has suffered a crisis of conscience over her job and quit. She had become increasingly uncomfortable with the way that the organization pushed abortions rather than pregnancy prevention. In fact, she had even been asked to bring in more women for more abortions to help the center stay alive in a touch economy. “The money wasn’t in family planning, the money wasn’t in prevention, the money was in abortion and so I had a problem with that,” she says. Finally, as she was watching an ultrasound of a pre-born baby, she thought “I’ve had enough.”
She has joined the local Coalition for Life, and is now praying with them in front of the abortion clinic she once headed.
Planned Parenthood is trying to get a restraining order against Abby and the Coaltion to prevent further damaging revelations about PP’s shameful exploitation of women.
